Finding Help, Giving Help

Hi, my name is Robert. I am a 20 year old, male on drug court. I was just released from jail in September, into the adult drug court system. I never thought that I would be in the place I am in now but I guess karma is crazy. They always say what comes around, goes around. I have been on drug court for about 4 months, and I just got off house arrest on January 3rd. Who would have known that it would take two months to go back to where I started when I got on house arrest?

Recently I have been working with The HUB fam! At first when my probation officer told me that I was going to work with a program that works with juveniles, I thought he was nuts because I felt that I was too old to be working with little kids. But as I started to come every Tuesday after work, I realized that these people are here to help the ones who need it, and I am someone who needs help.

The HUB is helping me with college enrollment, also housing, and how to mange my money and pay bills. They help keep me in line, and help me stay on the right path. They also help me figure out things in life that I don’t have any idea, how to do or fix; basically everything in life as I progress into a young adult. The things I have noticed about HUB are the people, they are outgoing, respectful, nice, caring, and honest. And they always put a smile on my face. They are willing to go out of their way to help someone in need of help. My time with The HUB has been great, I hope to have a good working and positive relationship as I go through their program. I would like to say thanks for the help and support.
